📝 The Federal Impact Aid Survey is a short form that helps our district receive federal funding to make up for lost local property tax revenue due to federally owned land. It also identifies "federally connected" students, such as those with military parents, to ensure proper support—especially important in our community with many military-connected families.

At Croatan High School, we’re embracing the spirit of World Kindness Day with a “Random Act of Kindness” Challenge! Students and staff are invited to perform a kind act of kindness for a peer, staff member, or neighbor and help spread positivity throughout our school and community.
Kindness can take many forms:

💬 Send an encouraging message.
🎨 Leave a positive note on someone’s locker.
☕ Surprise a classmate, teacher, or neighbor with a small treat.

🚗 National Teen Driver Safety Awareness Week is October 20–24!
We want all Cougar drivers to stay safe this year 💛🐾
Our Parent Advisory Council (PAC) invites students to stop by the cafeteria table and sign the pledge to be a safe and responsible driver.
This campaign is held in memory of Lawson Blevins, a West Craven High School senior who tragically lost his life in December 2024 while not wearing a seatbelt. His mom’s mission — #NeverGiveUpUntilTheyBuckleUp — continues to raise awareness at area schools in his honor. 💙
Join us each day as we take a stand for safe driving:
🔵 Mindful Monday: Wear BLUE to show you are true to safe driving.
💛 Text-Free Tuesday: Wear NEON or BRIGHT colors to shine a light on the dangers of texting while driving.
