World kindness day

November 13 is World Kindness Day, a global celebration that reminds us of the power of compassion, empathy, and generosity. Established in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement, this day encourages people everywhere to make kindness the norm by performing simple acts that brighten someone else’s day.

At Croatan High School, we’re embracing the spirit of World Kindness Day with a “Random Act of Kindness” Challenge! Students and staff are invited to perform a kind act of kindness for a peer, staff member, or neighbor and help spread positivity throughout our school and community.

Kindness can take many forms:
💛 Hold the door for someone.
💬 Send an encouraging message.
🎨 Leave a positive note on someone’s locker.
☕ Surprise a classmate, teacher, or neighbor with a small treat.
🌟 Thank a staff member who makes your day a little brighter.

No act of kindness is too small; it all makes a difference. Let’s see how far we can spread kindness across our campus and beyond. Together, we’ll show what makes Croatan truly special: our caring, connected, and kind community.

Let’s make kindness contagious, Cougars!
