October is National Principals Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible work of school leaders across the country. Here at Croatan High School, we are proud to honor our principal, Mr. Chris Davis, whose leadership, vision, and dedication continue to make a lasting impact on our Cougar community.
A Leader Focused on Students and Staff
Mr. Davis began his career in education as a social studies teacher, where he developed a passion for engaging students and building strong learning experiences. His classroom experience continues to influence his leadership style today — one centered on collaboration, high expectations, and care for every student.
At Croatan High, Mr. Davis leads with purpose and positivity. He works closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure that our students have access to meaningful opportunities both in and out of the classroom. Whether it’s supporting academic excellence, promoting school spirit, or encouraging community involvement, his goal is always the same — to help students reach their full potential.
Building a Culture of Cougar Pride
Under Mr. Davis’s leadership, Croatan High School continues to be known for its strong academic programs, student engagement, and sense of community. From athletics and the arts to advanced coursework and leadership opportunities, our students are encouraged to grow in every way possible.
Mr. Davis plays a key role in fostering this positive environment. He celebrates the achievements of students and staff, models the importance of continuous improvement, and ensures that “Cougar Pride” shines brightly throughout Carteret County.
