National Technical Honor Society

The National Technical Honor Society is a national association that recognizes outstanding students in career and technical education. Membership is by invitation and the induction ceremony takes place during March.

NTHS ELIGIBILITY


  • Overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 unweighted scale in a standard course of study
  • A grade point average in their selected career cluster (pathway) of 3.25 with no grade below 85
  1. In good standing to graduate on time
  2. Membership in a Career and Technical Student Organization (HOSA, FBLA, FCCLA, DECA, FFA, Skills USA)
  3. Once inducted, eight (8) hours community service each semester as a member

AND

Juniors: Must have completed or be enrolled in a total of 3 CTE classes in the same career cluster

Seniors: Must have completed or be enrolled in a total of 4 CTE classes in the same career cluster one of which must be a completer course

NOTE: If you are selected as a junior for National Technical Honor Society, you are required to complete the 4th CTE class as a senior. You must have a completer course in that cluster. Failure to complete that 4th class will remove you from the National Technical Honor Society.
